Women are important figures in the society.

                               

When a woman is giving birth everyone would be waiting to know if the baby is male or female.

Many will be glad to hear that it’s a baby boy and some will be disappointed if it’s a girl. WHY?? Because it is believed that a male is the most important one as they keep the family name but a girl child would get married and take the husband’s name.

Without bearing in mind that a girl child can be a source of income as bride price would be payed .

Women are the most important people in the world and yet the majority of them are being abused by their workmates, bosses and husband .

Why can’t they bear in mind that for them to be in this world it is because there were carried in a woman’s womb for nine months .Bearing all the pain of having a child making sure that they are well fed and they are warm .

I believe that women deserve all the respect that can be found in this world .Hardly a week passes by without reading on the newspaper that ‘a man beats a wife for ………….’ .

Women were not created from the feet because they do not want to be below neither were they created from the head because they do not want to above but they were created from the ribs near the heart to be loved.
